Before Ryanair - or even Aer Lingus - there was Iona National Airways. From humble beginnings, and a familiar shed at Cross Guns Bridge, came an aerodrome in Finglas. Some of those who took to the skies would become the earliest pilots with Aer Lingus, while the story involves great names like Lady Heath. This is the story of how Dublin fell in love with the skies.
