As an Irish Republic was proclaimed on 24 April 1916, some Dubliners decided the time had come to take whatever they could get. At Noblett's sweet shop, Lawrence's toy shop and across the city, the looters got to work, burning buildings as they went. Las Fallon returns (Fire Brigade historian) to discuss the 1916 looters, who had a significant impact on the early stages of the Rising, and who became part of its folklore.
